Campos do Jordão International Winter Festival is the largest classical music event in Latin America. In 2009, it became even more important for three reasons: the festival achieves its 40th edition; it gets into the official programming of France. BR2009; and sets the improvement of the artistic and educational exchange of the event.

In 2009, the Festival also starts a new cycle of its history, with the beginning of Santa Marcelina Cultura management, Social Organization qualified by the State Culture Bureau.
